Professional Alternator Maintenance Workflow:
Rotor & Stator Reconditioning: During the overhaul, the rotor and stator are disassembled and inspected for wear, contamination, or structural damage. Depending on the condition, specialized cleaning via wiping or chemical washing is performed to restore the dielectric properties of the windings.
Bearing Inspection & Replacement: Bearings are evaluated for wear levels and mechanical play. To prevent catastrophic failure and efficiency loss, worn bearings are replaced with high-quality components to ensure smooth mechanical rotation.
Precision Assembly & Megger Testing: Following the cleaning and parts replacement, the alternator is meticulously reassembled. We then perform rigorous Megger (Insulation Resistance) Testing to verify winding integrity and ensure the system is safe from electrical shorts.
Operational Validation: Once the tests are successful, the generator is commissioned. Performance is monitored under load to ensure it meets all regulatory and technical standards.
